This month on the blog circle, we had the challenge or writing working with the color yellow. Yellow is EVERYWHERE but wow- I had about zero minutes to try and capture it in photos. I love love love what I did capture though and I am thankful everyday to be living in this small town and I love summer. The golden rays of the sun have beat down on us lately forcing us to stay indoors quite a bit. My daughter has been really into the game of Clue. You know, where you have to figure out who killed Mr. Body and in what room and with what weapon? I have had this game since I was a child. It is falling apart. We have lost a couple character pins and a weapon or two but its still playable! We play this quite often now that we are forced to stay indoors more often with this awful heat! I tried locating the 1980's version of the movie but we can't find it. Literally, you will be my hero if you can lend mea copy if you have it! I promise to be your friend forever. I would love my kids to see that movie considering the onslaught of times we are playing this game!

If you know me, you know that we have a ton of chickens on our little farm. We are about to get goats to joint family too so I can't wait to share that once we finalize everything. Since I am going to have to go down to the chicken coops and the goat house more often I'm sure, I thought it was high time Bought me some boots that could handle the duty well. I found these boots and I love them. They arrived last month and are so comfortable and I love the design because it has chickens on them! How can one go wrong with chickens?!

I really believe that I am in love with the flowers that we have around our farm right now. My husband would disagree because frankly they are weeds to him but I think they are pretty! Bright yellow and beautiful. I love going down in the morning and looking at them. They are growing everywhere right now. Dandelions are so useful (I have heard) and I should look up one day how to make use of them in my home. If you have any tips on how I can use them please share in the comments below! I would love to hear about it!

Thanks for sticking around to read about my last month in yellow mode. I had a lot of fun even though I couldn't document a ton. Please head on over to Allison and see what she has to say about yellow!

Don't forget that if you would like to have me document your day and remember all those little memories you wouldn't like to forget- please CONTACT ME and tell me what you want to remember. I am all ears!

Much love,

Heather
