It's good to have goals right? My goals are very simple. I want a strong business that is thriving based on the idea that people want to have their lives documented. This year, as much as I want to be the one doing the photos- I realize that there are so many more times where I cannot be with you on your daily journey. So another goal this year is to get more people taking photos of their family and friends and getting better as they go along. It doesn't matter what kind of camera you have or whether you even just use your phone. There are tons of ways to make you photos better and we are going to explore just a few of them the entire month of March! Exciting huh?  I have compiled a short video this week on how to use light creatively in your photos and I think you will enjoy it!

So this week the challenge is to get out of your comfort zone and start looking at light differently. Any questions? don't hesitate to post them below. It's amazing what one can do with a little creative light! Can't wait to see your photos! Post them on my FACEBOOK PAGE and tell me what your favorite type of light to photograph is!

Here are some examples to get you started. Take note of the shadows and where the light is coming from. Knowing where you light is coming from and what kind of light you are working with is the number one step to learning how to take great photos.
