So here I am thinking of one of my recent and beautiful sessions and I just feel so lucky. Lucky to have this job. Lucky to have great friends and lucky to have people in my life who will support me in everything that I do. That mushy stuff aside this was one of my absolute favorite photo sessions of all time. The amazing part was I had no clue how this was going to turn out. It was a surprise to me! Sometimes you have to find the light and work with it. That is exactly what I did on this instance and I, for one, feel like things went amazingly.
Your first child isn't any more special than your third or fourth or your twelfth but for some reason they tend to be the ones that are photographed the most. Having a photographer in the family, I am sure this child will not be without photos of itself or any of its future siblings! (Now, aren't we getting ahead of ourselves here?) I am sure this couple is only thinking of one thing right now- how to take care of one child and make it work. I remember that feeling and although fun at times, it is really difficult at times too. For those of you with children, you totally understand what I mean by this! But let's carry on and see what all the fuss is about! Meet little miss I. Now, I have photographed some pretty cute babies before but this one sure takes the cake!
She was the cutest little cross-eyed baby and I just couldn't get enough! Having worked with the mom for years in the animal business of my past it was an honor to be able to photograph her first child and them as a new family of three. I can't wait to photograph her again when she turns one year old (or perhaps sooner?). Babies grow too fast and the ever-changing facial features make it hard not to want more photos taken than that! Have a look and don't hesitate to post a quick comment and tell me what you think!
